Usenet was the domain of a small number of intellectuals. those who had access.

Usenet participant beginning 12/1985. (ARPANET access beginning 1984.) Active participant of talk.politics.misc, rec.org.sca and other groups for indeterminate number of years.

Still have a terrific Atholl Brose recipe used many times since Usenet acquisition.

Hey there. Usenet... those were the days!

Today was bittygirl’s first day of preschool. She absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. She fell asleep in the car and napped for over an hour after we got home. The first thing she asked when she woke up was if she could go back... today (meaning NOW).

Spiderboy enjoyed her first day of school, too :-) It was a very productive day. We managed too do almost a week’s worth of spelling in an hour.
