I haven’t been suspended, but I’m always up for a good conspiracy. How about quietly passing it along that I was not only suspended, but even got banned...but now I’m back of course :)

I was suspended for a few hours not too long ago. I think the mod was someone I argue with and when their turn came up to moderate, they gave me a little payback.
