We had over a thousand lightening strikes in the Trinity Shasta National Forest Thursday. No count of the fires other than one in near Ruth Lake on the South Fork of the Trinity..

Holy cow! Not good.

I think pretty much all of the west is just a tinder box waiting for a spark.

Seriously considering checking with the local native's about that rain dance thing.....

We got some rain this past Monday, 1/2" here at the house, almost 4" inches on the western side of the valley. Need more!

Keep yer head down, no golfing!, and I hope ya get some wet stuff. Have not watched the forcast...used to watch the Weather Channel...until they became the Al Gore Channel.
