Respectfully, I think that sounds like spin.

She is a flaming lib who, from everything I have read about her, is opposed to everything NASCAR stands for. America, God, and especially the internal combustion engine.

Thanks for the thanks :)

Here’s a bit about Ricky Rudd, he said he kinda got knocked silly and doesn’t remember the last lap at all. Dr Petty will be busy.

“I’m doing good now. It was hard to get my shirt on. It’s a separated shoulder. I’m going to see Dr. (Jerry) Petty in Charlotte tomorrow to get an idea of what to expect.”

FReeper League scores are posted and I am pleased to announce I was able to hang on to the coveted 25th spot. My theory about the top 10 players is proved once again as they continue to score more points (with the exception of one glaring example)than the rest of us.

So the simple formula for the rest of you is...SCORE MORE POINTS!

I am only here as an example for the rest of you. I have proven you can consistently get lower points than everyone else, and yet stagnate in the current position, at least until management gets wise.

Carl Edwards DOES have class. Between him, and JJ, and Flash, and Mark Martin, and Ricky Rudd...and...and...and...

...that is why it was so hard for me to pick a favorite. I settled on Smoke, but I also like so many of the others.

Maybe some of Carl’s manners will rub off on Montoya?

Maybe some of Carl’s manners will rub off on Montoya?

Montoya has changed over the past 3 races or so - he's been quiet (even qualifying 2nd at Bristol and then having engine problems that dropped him back to the middle of the pack). I know NASCAR chewed him and Kevin Harvick out (who has also been quiet) after their little spat, and Ganassi is the type of owner who has no problem taken a driver down a few notches, same with Childress, so somebody got through to him and Harvick at some point.

Heck, at Bristol, Harvick and Montoya were either nose-to-tail or side-by-side for most of the race, and you could tell the announcers were hoping one would take out the other, but they never did - they would move out of the way for the other.

It was like some kind of Bizarro race.

I was also impressed with Montoya after Edwards hit him - from the audio, Montoya and one of the spotters or the CC were pissed, but not like "I'm going to go take Edwards out" kind of pissed, more of a "stuff happens" kind of pissed. I guess after the blown engine and having to start in the rear, that they weren't expecting to run at the front, but they were doing pretty good until Edwards CC blew it. Still, I expected him to be pretty mad at Edwards, but he didn't seem to be.
