And I see I'll be home in time to catch qualifying Friday afternoon. Good way to start the weekend!
Happy Thursday, souper looking thread intro...can’t wait to see the CUbs tonight! Staying downtown ChiTown tonight after the game.
See ya on SUNDAY!
Thanks Mac, I should be home in time as well.
Thanks GRRRRR did you check out Jeff’s page?
Siegel also said that DEI likely will announce who will crew chief its cars next season during that Richmond weekend news conference. >>>>>Tony Eury Jr. is expected to leave for Hendrick with Earnhardt Jr.
“We’re working through all of those issues,” Siegel said. “We will address all of those issues simultaneously. Tony Jr. has expressed an interest to go with Dale Jr. [who could blame him, run Tony run!]
“What we’ve been trying to do through the whole process is do what makes sense for everybody involved.”

CBL reporting Gibbs will announce next Wednesday that Toyota is a done deal. Tony and Denny have extended their contracts through 2013.
Hard to believe considering the trouble toyota has had this year.
Busch: Hendrick knows what they’ll be missing
Kyle Busch is driven by the knowledge that Hendrick Motorsports brought in Dale Earnhardt Jr. to replace him on the team for 2008. Busch signed on with Joe Gibbs Racing, where he’ll team up in 2008 with Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin, forming a formidable trio. Busch will replace JJ Yeley of Phoenix, who is now looking for a team for 2008. “(Hendrick Motorsports) know what they’re going to be missing,” Busch said. “They’ve had a Chase contender out of me the past two years, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t been in the Chase the past two years. “I’m just going out there (in his remaining races for Hendrick) to try to do the best that I possibly can and not to really worry about anything else. I’m mainly worried about making sure that Kyle Busch is as fast as he can be every week, be competitive and win races.” — Arizona Republic

HAhahahahaha Shrub, Jr WAS in the Chase last year. DUH. What a brat and his caps will need to be enlarged to fit his big head. Open mouth insert foot.
JJ’s got a parking space now too. Now that we’re all teammates and stuff. :D

Oh nooooooooo I just cannot believe it. How in the world is it possible to NOT find a sponsor for such exciting races with the stars of racing???
Maybe if they would put it just in front of the Cup or Busch races instead of qualifying day they would get attendance enough to pay for it.
Pretty sad, huh? That was why I always liked it, the hardware was the same, the drivers were from varied racing backgrounds. Showcase of talent.
Wasn't it Steve Kinser that ended up on his roof, two years in a row?
As they say, life marches on. I'm not sure if I like the music they are using.
sigh........
Yes it was Kinser.............I can’t believe Crown Royal backed out.
BTW, your first post I was like “troll” what troll? OOHHHHHHH :)
If you liked it, you should love CON, er COT.
What determines a single file restart, or a double file start with lapped cars on the inside?
An early caution may have a single file restart because all cars on still on the lead lap.
The names in that story had me scratching my head until I read it closer...
It threw me a curve at first too. :)
