I’m a big fan of Michelle, however on this one I think she is wrong. Everyone is entitle to their own opinion - and I respect that...but no matter what goes up for any memorial to 9/11 people are going to have a complaint.

It works with the topography of the land. I’ve been to the field numerous times - it is a very peaceful place, ironically. I am looking forward to visiting this site.

Especially since my father, Patrick “Joe” Drisoll, was on Flight 93.

She’s wrong huh?

Trees forming a lunar crescent.

A little clump of trees where the Star should be

Oriented exactly to the qibla (the little prayer notch that directs someone toward mecca)

My my so many inadvertent coincidences.

Chris, please accept my, and our condolences.

I personally thought a good design would be two rows imicing the passenger seats and a group for the crew ... each "seat" would identify the passenger and folks could walk between them.

I too ... for what it's worth, and in no way meaning to bring any more sorrow to your heart .. reject the memorial as proposed.
