OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Aggravated assault charges have been filed against a church deacon and University of Oklahoma Sooners fan after officials say he grabbed a University of Texas fan between the legs during a scuffle in an Oklahoma bar.
A couple of months before the annual Red River Shootout between the Sooners and Longhorns, words were exchanged at Henry Hudson's Pub between Allen Beckett, 53, and Brian Thomas. Witnesses said it was because Thomas was wearing a UT T-shirt.

I might add... unlike OU fans, only /male/ UT fans have scrotums.
Church discipline advocate here.
If found to be true (church deacon in bar, in brawl), church should read 1 Timothy chapter 3 and Titus chapter one (and a score of other pertinent passages), and bring biblical church discipline against this deacon. He should be removed from office, and placed under disciplinary watch of the church.
But what churches discipline their members any more? That is one reason the testimony of the churches in the world is NO testimony.
And also, we have to stop all the female OU fans from grazing on the field at half time...
That Texas fan should just be thankful he didn’t run into Jackie Sherill in a bar-we all know what he did to longhorns.
