Well, Vitter is heterosexual and has created his own mess. Don’t know I’d limit this to homsexuality or even sex for that matter. Stevens is under investigation back in Alaska over all that pork he’s been bringing home.
What we need is to establish an ethics commission on our own aisle with real teeth. Clear unambiguous guidelines that if crossed should result in your immediate resignation. We vigorously and continuously run checks on our own and if caught, we expose them. Not talking about a Federal commission here either, but grassroots led.
I’m convinced these ethical lapses are why they vote the way they do usually. These things don’t go unnnoticed in D.C. and are used to control them on votes that typically end up screwing us. No pun intent here.

Note to self: when using a public restroom do not tap foot to the muzak."Craig then proceeded to swipe his hand under the stall divider several times,..."
Also, try not to act like you're going to wipe for the person in the next stall either, okay?
Or would muzak (in a restroom?) have some strange effect over you?

At this point, with his guilty plea, it does not matter if he is guilty, he is done forYeah, I know that. I'm just frustrated and a little angry about the whole reeking mess. It seems that that everything we seemed to have going for us a few years ago is now going up in smoke.
It's enough to make me want to just forget about political matters altogether and just get on with my life as it comes at me. God is still faithful and good to all who believe in Him, and allegiance to Him and His Son Jesus Christ is what really matters both in this life and the next.

I think the distinction between a Republican and a True Conservative, in this regard, is really on target.
Get rid of that guy!! We don't need such perverted people on our side.

Pocatello is heavily LDS. Bannock county has lots of Democrats as well. The Democrat mayor of Pocatello invited Harry Reid to town to campaign on his behalf. What really floored me was the balloons and banners on the LDS chapel nearest Pocatello city hall to welcome Reid. The LDS church generally forbids any political activity on church property to avoid attacks on its tax exempt status. The political leanings of LDS church members in town is difficult to predict. Those who come from blue collar railroad and factory backgrounds are likely to have union/Democrat ties. The Boise area is loaded with libs that have moved in from surrounding states.

Oh please, this pervert has nothing to do with the GOP, his church, or any other org he belongs tooThat's wishful thinking in the extreme. Larry Craig is a senior GOP Senator and part of the GOP establishment. Denying the truth doesn't change the truth.

Ummmm....so explain what the GOP has to do with this guy being in a arrested in a public bathroom on sex charges?
To: Billthedrill
I doubt if Butch would appoint Risch even though he has been planning to run if Craig doesn't.
To: ScreamingFist
What kind of sex can one get in a crowded public restroom by reaching under a stall wall? You'd be amazed! I used to manage a Montgomery Ward Dept. Store and we had a HUGE men's room problem. And they didn't care how many people were using the bathroom the way it's intended to be used.

Im guessing it will be Jim Risch, the current Lieutenant Governor.
I have heard they are not friends.
