I’ve seen more young people working on the RP campaign than others, in fact I haven’t actually seen anyone working on anyother campaign. I’ve had a kid give me a RP flyer while at a red light and I’ve seen another group a couple weeks later standing at another corner with RP signs.
I think kids understand freedom more than anything. When I was younger that’s what attracted me to the Republicrats and then when I learned they are slightly different than the Demicans I switched to the Libertarians, then when they became surrender monkeys I went back to Republicrat, at least I can try to inject some Libertarian ideals back into the grouchy ole party.
Our experiences are similar. I was a delegate to the LP nat’l convention in 2004 but I’m all done with the LP. It’s far better to work with the GOP than it is to waste any time with the LP.
