Unlike the Chinese, we have allies in the region. The fact that the Chinese float this one shows that they have no friends in the area.
We already have: US 100% vs. China not-so-much. Hence why the Chinese are begging for a larger piece of the pie!

Sadly, last night I heard Mitt Romney say on Laura Ingraham’s show that we should have a partnership with China, and it’s the third time I heard him say it.
We already have an approximately $275 BILLION trade deficit with China, what more does Romney want? He just doesn’t get it.

What parts of the pacific does china think it has a claim to? As far as I know, all they got is taiwan and a few tiny nothing islands in the south china sea. Japan has a greater claim to the pacific than china does. So do the french and the british. We’ve got hawaii, samoa, the carolines, and several others.
China can jump off a cliff.
Just draw the line about down the middle of the Straits of Formosa.
