Maybe, but they were definitely Euros. Americans stick out for their dress and haircuts, not just girth. I also noticed butt clevage seems to be a fashion accessory there. Go figure.

“Young Americans too fat to fight”
Bull. I went to basic at 206 lbs. Eight weeks later I graduated at a svelte 161. And that was in peace time.

Maybe they just like diet drinks, once youve had them for a number of years you actually develop a preference for them. I am a woman of normal weight and I've drank diet sodas for so long that regular sodas are too sweet for me.

Just go to any Walmart. I went to Walmart some time ago and I was stunned that I was the thinnest woman in there (and I'm not Kate Moss material by any definition).

Check it out, if you subtract Mexico from the US you almost get Canada. But also notice no African countries.
BMI is a terrible gage of obesity.
I wonder which Korea they are referring to?

I wonder which Korea they are referring to? I think it was a survey by the OCED so I'd presume it's based on South Korea only.

yes. it is the same diff with drinking lowfat or non fat milk the whole milk tastes like you are drinking heavy whipping cream. you just become adjusted to it.
Excercise can be had by using your shift key to place capital letters at the beginning of sentences.
Did you know?
It also makes you appear to be an adult doing the writing.

I don’t trust the numbers in the article either - however they are the new fact....my husband is 5’ 10” 185/lbs same as when he fought in Vietnam years ago - talkin’ late 60’s here- can still fit in his uniform- no fat at all- and he’s overweight according to the newer stats- overweight is contrived in many cases.

I’m more worried about the trend to demand that others solve one’s own problems.

I have read that more medical issues are seen in basic like shin splints, stress fractures, torn connective tissue, etc because even normal weight young people are unused to physical activity.
Better build more of those remote smart weapons.
