Mission The priority mission of the Border Patrol is preventing terrorists and terrorists weapons, including weapons of mass destruction, from entering the United States. Undaunted by scorching desert heat or freezing northern winters, they work tirelessly as vigilant protectors of our Nation's borders. While the Border Patrol has changed dramatically since its inception over 75 years ago, its primary mission remains unchanged: to detect and prevent the illegal entry of aliens into the United States.
Obviously, like most government bureaucrats, this bird hasn't got a clue about what he is supposed to be doing when he shows up for work. Geeeesh!

Okay, since the Border Patrol has been "protecting" us from terrorists for only about the last five years, what has it been doing for the 70 years before that?
