Amy, I do have 2048 MB and 500 GB harddrive - which is just exactly twice the size of my XP. I had no idea it wasn't going to be comparable to the XP, as far as the percentage of free space remaining after Vista took it's chunk.

As an example, I had more of my own software loaded on XP and still had almost 95% free harddrive space. I have way less of my own software loaded on this one, and even at that, I only have 90% free harddrive space.

Wow! I had no idea Vista would use that much space. I guess that I need to look awhile longer.

I can stumble along on Marissa’s PC for while. :)
