When someone says that WW I was not a concern of the US then he is a total lunatic and not worthy for discussion.Oh come now. This I have to hear. Why was it so important to send our boys over there? It was the last of the colonial wars, with some serious trade issues (based on protectionism) tossed in for good measure.
I want to know why it was so important to remove a monarchy and establish a democracy that could be used at a later date by a crackpot racist. Hmmmmm, that sounds vaguely familiar....

There you have it. You’re making the isolationist argument of the 1930’s, which was so discredited that the Democrats were able to rule for 50 year. Now, you want to go back to the idea that we can hide behind our two oceans and Admiral Mahon’s navy. Have you heard of 9/11? Is there anything that can wake you and your Ron Paul ilk up?
