In retrospect, it was an unwise move that inspired the Moslems to view us as weak, like our withdrawal from Somalia, and like a withdrawal from Iraq would do.

If we can fault him for a mistake, this would be it, the withdrawal of the Marines from Beirut after being attacked by terrorists in 1983. It was then that the islamic terrorists learned that they can hit the US and the Americans do not respond but they leave. They did so many times since then until they came attacked right here on US soils on 9/11/2001.

Thanks God for President Bush who took the fight right to the heart of the Middle East where islamic terrorists dwells. We are on the offensive against islamic terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere... and yes we are winning and winning big.
