I second that. David did not bash Ron Paul.
He asked a legitimate question.
I haven't seen any direct answers.
How in the world is this thread anything of the sort.. I posted for discussion.. If you see this as a "bash" you are WAY too deffensive.. if a group of Duncan Hunter supporters were to attend this event in the context that this group of Ron Paul supporters are.... I would be posting the same thing.. and telling folks that I do NOT believe that they represent the views of Duncan Hunter...
so again, do these folks accurately represent the views of Ron Paul?
Anything that undermines moveon.org is fine with me. Those people are really miserable. Let them fall in love with liberty and the constitution. We will be better off.
Are you are a nut case.
I've already answered your questions.
Somewhat of an understatement, don't you think? Rubber walls for him!
I'm not sure if you're familiar with the threads about Ron Paul, but that's the m.o. of the Ron Paul haters. You can go on one of several this morning where people are seeing "anti-semitic" and "truther" boogeymen around every corner, for example.
Post number 14...
Bwahahahah!
What a hoot...
No, they don't. The anti-war left (in addition to the anarchist libertarian and right) are trying to use Paul's campaign as a proxy to push their views.
You've got nothing. THIS IS A TOTAL NON-STORY. MoveOn moonbats trying to influence Paul's supporters, which many of them don't agree with MoveOn. Paul opposes the Iraq war on Constitutional and traditional grounds. He doesn't oppose it based on anti-war left grounds.
Good point. Just because Ron Paul supporters are urged to go to a MOVEON.ORG rally doesn’t mean that his supporters are guilty by association, or that’s the way Ron Paul’s indignant FReeper supporters explain it each and every time his supporter hook up with some substrata of his moonbat constituency. They’re beyond lowbrow; their sophistry is simply risible. Do they really think real conservatives cannot see through their gibberish?
I am glad to hear that you don't support this effort, and if this group is not acurately representing Ron Paul's view than maybe Ron Paul should kindly ask this group to cease this effort?
Take a deep breath my FRiend, calm down, and let's have a friendly dialogue
And dead last in the polls......that has to hurt.
They talk about invading the event and introducing the people there to a different perspective. How is that “catering?” Heck, folks here used to call that “freeping.”
Well, I tried humor earlier, but apparently someone had a cow and whined about it.
I guess you’ll be attending? lol.
Since we ALL seem to agree that the Anti-war crowd are clearly misinformed about Rob Paul’s views maybe Ron Paul should ask them to support a candidate that more accurately represents their view.. in other words how many of Ron Paul’s supporters are “Anti-war”?
Paul's supporters don't own landlines and don't watch CBS Evening News.
Ron Paul’s “anti-war” views have made him unacceptable as a GOP nominee.
The libertarian view that the government should be doing less and spending less is absolutely correct though.
The GOP must become a party that makes “conservative” a verb instead of a noun.
Its time to stop calling ourselves “conservatives” and start acting as “conservatives.”
And I define conservative action as focusing government on basics like national defense and border security.
The other programs must be revisisted. We must dismantle the idols of the Great Society and the New Deal.
