IIRC, 10 gauge doesn’t go through sheetrock, and the sound of that shotgun being racked might save you from having to kill somebody.

Read it in an article about preparing for the Y2K disaster--pretty amusing stuff. I remember thinking, "Yeah, but if it won't go through drywall, how's it going to kill the burglar?" Guess I should have realized that the author's level of gun knowledge was about as good as his computer knowledge.
