The British did not invent slavery.
Slavery existed on every continent, including Africa, since the dawn of History and it still exists in Africa to this day.
The British, however, invented abolitionism coupled with the use of the Royal Navy to put an end to the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
The fact of the matter is that the tribe of Jesse Jackson's African ancestors certainly owned slaves captured from other tribes and that the tribe of Jesse Jackson's African ancestors also profited from selling their captives to the white slave traders.
Back in Africa during those days, some days you enslaved another African and some days another African enslaved you.
Either way, it was Africans selling Africans to the white slave traders.
Jesse Jackson's "reparations" is the reality that he is now fortunate to live in America thanks to that other African who sold his ancestor to the white slave trader.
If that is not good enough for Jesse Jackson, I will gladly pay his "reparations" out of my own pocket as long as he agrees that it is "One Way".
Funny how that happened isn't it. White Christian people were the first to abolish it. If I'm not mistaken Britain was one of the first countries to do so.
