I didn’t hear the exact wording you heard, and I would hope that he was referring to Byron York making his first appearance on FNS. If Byron is a permanent new person, who would he replace? Hope it’s not Britt.

I happened to see the end of the FNS roundtable segment this evening. Chris referred to Gloria, the newcomer, as getting the last word. He was talking to Juan, because it is a bit of weekly closing dialogue between Chris and Juan, about Juan getting in the last word.

So he said “newcomer”, not “new panel member,” not that it matters much to me. I think I have had my lifetime quota of political discussion TV shows. The panelists don’t seem to be able to have an original thought any more.

I have been out of the country for a while but I got the impression Brit was a gonner on FNS. I believe his wife left and I think (thought) he was likewise looking at other adventures. Am I wrong?
