Treasury Department Employee, Joshua Steiner, lied to Congress about conversations with White House personnel about the RTC and has resigned...even worse - when it was revealed that he had written about some of the thngs he was being questioned on in his private notes, he insisted that he had lied to his own journal - how low can you get!......

Actually, Barbara Boxer convinced Steiner that he had lied to his diary. She went on and on about how her daughter made up events and wrote them in her diary. Apparently, some people bought this nonsense.
