Interesting article, and a good one to show to acquaintances who think Hitler was a “right-wing Fascist”....

Lenin knew he could build support by promising to disenfranchise the rich. Hitler need support of some of the rich so he proposed to disenfranchise certain people.

“Everything must be different!” or “Alles muss anders sein!” was a slogan of the Nazi Party. It is also the heart’s desire of every Leftist since Karl Marx.”

Now doesn’t that sound familiar when considering Hillary? She doesn’t like anything about our way of life and is always saying it all has to change.

"Hitler was a socialist"

He named his party "The National Socialist Party" and he wanted socialism for all good Germans--servitute or death for everyone else.

Indeed it would be.

But unfortunately the history has been written otherwise, has been taught to the young and has become a truth in the Clinton sense, i.e., a lie repeated often enough becomes the truth. And THE TRUTH according to the history books is that the Nazis were Right Wing. I'm afraid even the power of Free Republic and the Internet will not reverse this false belief.

I invented the a game, which never caught on, "Is It Hitler or Is It Gephardt?", along the lines of "Is It Al Gore or Is It the Unibomber?".

You could take a quote from Gephardt or Mein Kampf, swap "working families" for "the German people", "the rich" for "the Jews", "Democrat" for "Nazi" and they were almost indistinguishable.

I suppose the difference was Hitler believed about half of what he said.
