CDC breed fatality study:
http://www.cdc.gov/ncipc/duip/dogbreeds.pdf

In order, big 3:
#1 Pit Bulls
#2 Rottweilers
#3 German Shepards

Next:
#4 Husky - types
#5 Malamutes
#6 Wolf-dog hybrids

Falls off pretty quickly after that.

“CDC breed fatality study:

That is a great link. Thanks.

I want to know who was the dude who was killed by a cocker spaniel. Surely this must’ve been kin to J. Edwards, esq.

(Inside joke for those who follow http://www.imao.us/archives/cat_john_edwards_fabulous_facts.html)

Wow, I'm impressed that you could find a death caused by canines study whoopee.

Now let's see if you can even IDENTIFY a "pitbull".

I'll bet you can't ID a pit for love or money. But you want them "outlawed". That sounds pretty f_LIBERAL to me.

You conveniently leave out the fact that German Shepherds are listed as number 3, yet there are but 2 incidents in a ten year period separating them from the 4th, “husky type”.

There is a 39 incident spread between the #1 and #3, and a #22 incident spread between #2 and #3.

From 1991 through 1998, four deaths total were attributed to German Shepherds.

Animals were responsible for 18 deaths of farm youngsters from 1995-1997 (horses, cattle, dogs, swine)
http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/childag/pdfs/FarmFatalYouth.pdf

Horses cause 219 deaths a year.
1. National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS) estimated 105 deaths per year, but this would be low because many horse related injuries do not go to emergency rooms but to morgues (Bixby-Hammett, 1990). The figure 219 was determined using medical examiner figures and population (Bixby-Hammett, 1990).
