Here’s a tip for parents:
When you strap your baby into the car seat in the back, place your briefcase/pocketbook in the back seat as well (or on the floor in the back, whatever).
Then, when you get to the office, you have to OPEN the car’s rear door to retrieve your briefcase/pocketbook. BINGO, there’s junior!

Advise your lawmakers that you don't need help being a parent and that you are henceforth putting your child in the front seat where you can watch him or her.
Not only are you less likely to leave the child in the back seat while having brunch at Starbucks, but you can determine instantly whether or not you need to do something like open its airway.
