Hey, Delphi ~~ Whether or not you want to accept my personal family history is your choice. But stop lecturing me on getting a grip. I have a right on this forum to express myself.

So what were my great grandparents supposed to do, tell every one of their children (six of them, some teenagers)to keep it a secret to their graves? That just doesn’t make sense within a family!

And my clear memories of my grandmother telling me what happened to her and her family are to be discarded as a lie?

Elements within the Mormon hierarchy tried to kill my great grandfather three times because he refused to take a second wife.

I’m sorry if it has offended you, but, there I’ve said it again.

Hey, Delphi ~~ Whether or not you want to accept my personal family history is your choice. But stop lecturing me on getting a grip.

Why? I have a right on this forum to express myself.

As have I, what's your point? No one here is telling you to shut up, we are just disagreeing with what you said.

Many liberals I know confuse the right to speak with the non-right to force others to listen.

You have the right to speak, as long as I do not violate the rules of this forum, I have the right to disagree, and to state that what you are saying is a family "Tradition" is in direct opposition to all the evidence that exists outside your family.

I don't care what they did or said, look at the rest of the world everyone who is not rabidly antimormon is laughing at you. You do know that less than 1% of the church ever practiced polygamy, right? So logically you are trying to say that less and 1% was trying to kill the 99%+ that was not polygamous, a certain song about an ant and a rubber tree plant is playing in my head... This is funny.

And my clear memories of my grandmother telling me what happened to her and her family are to be discarded as a lie?

you would prefer misunderstanding?

Elements within the Mormon hierarchy tried to kill my great grandfather three times because he refused to take a second wife.

I would really love to see some kind of document backing this up (one you didn't write your self). Got a diary you can scan?

I’m sorry if it has offended you, but, there I’ve said it again.

LOL, some people just have to make themselves look silly.
