You've got to understand something important: Iraq is not our country, nor is it our colony, territory, vassal, or satrapy.
That means that in the end, it's not our decision to make, the Iraqi people are the ones that have to do what it takes to end the war.
Look on the bright side: at least Saddam is dead and not coming back.
“Iraq is not our country, nor is it our colony, territory, vassal, or satrapy.
That means that in the end, it’s not our decision to make, the Iraqi people are the ones that have to do what it takes to end the war.”
“Al-Douri has decided to deal directly with US forces in Iraq, according to al-Jashaami”
“In return, for cooperating in the fight against al-Qaeda, al-Douri has asked for guarantees over his men’s safety and for an end to Iraqi army attacks on his militias.”
Sounds to me like we’ll have to make a decision.
And it looks like his boy, Chemical Ali, is going to be following him reeeall soon! That will please the Kurds.
Maybe we could even hold the necktie party in Halabja, where Ali got his nickname.
