All true facts.
Poor baby Mitt-worshipers can't take the heat!
Incidentally, Mitt waited until the last month of his 4-year term before getting that policy in place -- a policy that never even took effect.
Oh no, now JohnnyZ on a Romney thread. There is no predictable there, no sir.
There is a magazine in Orange County California call Red County that compares Mitts healthcare to Arnolds.
It is actually in the 4th, I have at home only the third is online but check there next month.

I agree. When the Romney care initiative was being debated, the Globe favored it. Now, they poke holes in it to discredit Romney.
Whats the truth? Is his policy a great success? This is a request for information, not a trick question.
Never, ever believe anything you read in the Boston Globe; its owned by the NYTs, and EVERYTHING they print is to enhance the liberal DNC agenda.
The TIMES and GLOBE are nothing but mouthpieces for the far left.
___________
So Mitt’s plan costs the state nothing? Those are the implications of your words, and are (sorry) laughably refutable.
You guys are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for anti-Mitt stuff, aren't you?
You seem to imply that Romney knew ahead of time that the incoming governor would rescind his efforts. We're supposed to reject Romney because he wasn't good enough at predicting the future or reading minds?
Do you, um, have any facts that differ, or is your
criticism only against the source you do not like?
Hey, JohhnyZ, might it be a good thing to elevate your comments above the level of schoolyard taunts?
You say that we cannot face facts, but you don't address ours. Answer this, if Romney was the liberal you purport him to be, why does the Globe run so many hit pieces on him?
You completely dismiss the article without addressing a single fact raised in said article.
Learn to follow your own advice there skippy.
Hmm... That is odd, isn't it? As much as the Glob adores liberals, shouldn't they be singing Romney's praises?
The Mitt-worshipers refuse to read anything that might be critical of him.
They simply ignore the facts and attack the messenger.
That's why in this whole thread no Mitt-worshiper has even attempted to refute a single fact from the article.
Attack the messenger, Attack the messenger, Attack the messenger!
Last time I checked the elderly are NOT a part of MA Healthcare Reform. They're on Medicare...
The fact is that the Boston Glob is a Lefist puppet on a dedicated smear campaign against Romney. The fact is that, while they love liberal politicians like Teddy Kennedy, they will print anything to bring down Romney. The fact is that leftist newspapers always spin, distort, misrepresent and flat-out ignore the truth when it comes to conservatives. FReepers, above all, know this well.
Do you likewise believe that conservatives are "worshiping" [insert conservative name here] because they don't meticulously answer every loony bit of smear that comes from the NYT/LAT/WaPO/ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN... ?
The fact is, it's a waste of time!
These sources, like the Boston Glob, aren't interested in accuracy. They're in full-blown, anti-conservative attack mode. Answering their overblown, hyperventilating accusations only lends them a degree of credibility they clearly haven't earned.
The Boston Globe has several anti-Romney hit pieces every week. No sooner would I address the "facts" in this hit piece then the Globe/NYT would publish another, and you'd be right back at it with your infantile Nelsonesque posts.
I am not asking for a research project from you, just your idle speculation. Why is it, with Romney being such a liberal, that the Globe produces so many anti-Romney hit pieces?
Boston Globe bs hit piece, with the last paragraphs pure gems:
“It is a characterization disputed by many Democrats, especially because Romney vetoed an assessment on businesses that do not provide adequate health coverage for employees. The provision, charging these employers up to $295 per worker per year, was critical to the compromise reached by the House and Senate, and legislative leaders were incensed that Romney vetoed it. The Legislature swiftly overrode the veto. Romney rarely, if ever, mentions the assessment on the stump.
“On healthcare, it’s nothing new from Mitt Romney — he supports our law when it suits him and runs away from it when it benefits his political ambition,” House Speaker Salvatore F. DiMasi said in a statement yesterday. “His vetoes gutted the very essence of the bill, and if his ideas stood, the number of uninsured in Massachusetts would have only grown. It’s fairer to say our bill, with the hallmark provision of shared responsibility from individuals, employers, and providers, became law despite Mitt Romney, not because of him.”
Romney’s vetoes of course being most conservative. Also note, Romney wanted the self-insured option offered and that was shot down by the ever liberal MA legislature.
Oh and on this:
“But he does not mention aspects of the plan that may hold less appeal for his Republican audiences. For example, he decries “socialized medicine” and says the Massachusetts plan is “all a private initiative, a private-based, market-based healthcare” — omitting the fact that the state and federal governments subsidize much of the overall cost and that A PUBLIC BOARD NEGOTIATED THE BENEFITS AND PRICES THAT PRIVATE INSURERS NOW OFFER.”
He vetoed that too.
The state and federal government were already subsidizing the hospital bailouts and Medicaid coverage the Commonwealth was making. Romney never once hid that the 1.3 billion the Commonwealth was spending on bailing out hospitals was going to be utilized instead to subsidize health insurance premiums. We were also at risk of losing well over $300 million in payments from the Federal government because our uninsured pool was too high (too many folks getting treatment for free).
This of course is my favorite line:
“Under the Massachusetts healthcare law, which requires every adult to have health insurance, the state does not provide insurance directly to people.”
but....but.....I thought this was socialized medicine.....

You need a comma after “there.”
:)
Ah, the taste of Mitt-worshiper tears. Tangy, with a hint of sour grape.
The Globe is Mitt's hometown paper.
A candidate's hometown paper is expected to take the lead in reporting on the candidate. They should have the most and best historical information on the candidate and the best sources.
Is this the first presidential campaign you've followed?
He posted the exact same comment on another thread:

I’m reminded of that sidekick on Saturday morning cartoons... you never knew why the guy was there other than to take up space and validate the anointed hero.
