A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Can you believe how the lefties are attacking FR and it isn’t even election year yet. I guess ole Dan DOES carry a grudge.

Do they really think that FR is so stupid that people here can’t see an end run when it’s happening.

I still don't have any photo editing software installed on this computer, so the graphics I'm using are all those I did before the crash of my Windows XP computer (I want it back - I hate Vista).

Re: Ugly threads. I use to get on a lot of political threads but just a couple of months ago I got on and made a comment and this fellow let me have it. I went back at him and we went back and forth. He didn’t know I was a woman and I wish you could have seen what he wrote me. Another guy and I got to talking and I was greatly tempted to send “what the first guy had said to me” to Jim R. I finally just told him I had better things to do than be on that thread. (I still have his remarks) since I haven’t deleted in a while..........

Morning Billie.. It seems everyone likes VISTA, EXCEPT people who like & do a lot of graphics/photo editing. Lots of incompatibility. & Vista always wins the battle of “what works”

You can go back to XP on your new computer. If I get a new one I will NOT get VISTA

It would prolly be a good program to have on a lap top for travel etc..

Busy day here (weeks actually) off for dog walk with John & his 2 dogs. Mine will get baths in the river (and so will I along the way)

I used to participate in some of those political threads, jaycee, but that was before 9/11, and the Canteen, and the Finest, and before all the President Bush bashing. (I took great pleasure in all the Clinton bashing threads!) I just choose to avoid those kinds of threads now - we get enough bashing of our president when we turn on the tv or read a newspaper.

Hi, Dolly - I have read that XP can actually be installed on this one, replacing Vista. I'm really seriously thinking of having it done, but lately have just spent so much money and so much time with technicians and software and reading forums and installing and uninstalling programs, I'm tired of it all. :(

GeeBee, the PhotoImpactPro Version 11 that I was looking forward to getting in the mail because it was supposed to work on Vista - DOESN'T! They have a free, downloadable 'patch' that's supposed to make the software compatible with Vista. I didn't know the patch was over 23 MBs, and I spent over 3 hours downloading it, installing it, and PI still won't open for me.

I'm very bummed. :(
