Not in the USA maybe...the difference between right and left depends on the political landscape, and the German landscape differs from the US, as you probably know.

In the political scientific sense of the word, Nazis were not very socialistic anyway, although there definitely are parralels between Nazi rule and other dictatorships like Stalin's UDSSR.

The part of the NSDAP that was really interested in socialist ideas, the SA, was taken care of during the "Röhm - Putsch" or Night of the long Knives.

Socialism of any sort is merely the pathway to absolute power. In reality there is hardly any “socialism” anywhere. Maybe some isolated tribes somewhere are real socialists.

The rest are just power mad elitists tricking the sheep into embracing slavery through the ruse of some variety of “people’s’ utopia.

Nazis, like the new Chinese leadership, realized that if they controlled means of production, but let certain, carefully selected smart people actually run it and get rich off it, their economy could actually function, at least for a while.
