I don’t understand what you mean by creating a monster. The fact that indians take offense when they are chased out of a village based on there skin color. The only people who seem concerened about what happened are the indians on this thread. Everyone else is attacking the original poster for posting this article and not the racists in the article. He never pinged anyone in specific but all these random people think he is attacking them. If you go thru past threads what he said is true. There is an anti-indian contingent who have in past threads claimed religous motives for attacks on foreigners in India and the original poster is making a point of this attack not being based on an attackers religon. How do you feel about the article? I think it is disgusting what the attackers did and should be condemned.

He automaticlly assumed, in his OP, before a single person had replied, that FReepers would condone this racism-and you don't see anything wrong here? He could have at the least waited for us to speak for ourselves-and he would have seen that no one on FR would condone this, quite the contrary. That is the monster to which I refer-he decided that he, by proxy, was a victim here at FR before getting a single reply. That is the monster we have created, if you will.
