i personally am ambivalent about India....which you must be too btw or you’d still be there and not here.

just because you are here now, it’s not reasonable to expect folks here to see the world your way.
and to equivocate US and Indian culture....they are not relative or equivocal...granted India has improved but it’s still the third world and has acute cultural issues
but...there are things I like about India....the family, the respect for one’s heritage..
i dated an Indian girl in Whitehall back in the mid 80s.....her family were high caste and very racist...towards me as well. she could only marry an Indian and her family looked down on me...which I coulda cared less about since she was so yummy
given what folks like me know from having been there and knowing Indians and the culture what gives you the right to finger point and use the racist smear on us?

There are possibly a million things that India lacks which I wish it hadnt, but the policy of “live and let live” is not one of them.
This issue needs to be discussed as this seems to be a growing trend in Germany.
