Even though the brave airmen died within the USA, they remain heroes in the greatest struggle for freedom in living memory.

Sad but good that the remains have been discovered. The families can now find some closure.

You just inspired a great idea. Next time the moonbats read the names of the Iraq fallen to "honor" them, let's read the names of WWII heroes.

It will point out the hypocrisy of moonbats and reveal their real objectives.

I flew a cameraman from the local news station around the mountaintop in 2005 taking video of the last airman found. It was very tough to find the excavation team on the glacier even at a relatively low altitude...

In formal meteorological terms, "Cumulogranite".

Or “granitocumulus” (which was the way my CFI put it).

Would love to see Kings Canyon Natl. Park someday.
Glad they've found another lost Airman's remains. RIP.

Yeah, there's the remains of a B-24 on a mountain here in VT.

I'm pretty sure at least one guy survived, sans hands, and maybe feet (frostbite).

No one thought to look for any of the others when they found the one body in 2005? Oxygen must be REALLY thin up there, lol!

The others were probably still buried in the snow/ice.
