Green Stone Media, the feminist-founded radio network ("Talk that women really want to hear") is defunct.
Typical liberal behavior: Assuming everyone wants to hear (and agree with) your message and no accountability when your ideas fail. "Talk that women really DON'T want" was driven out by low ratings, as women didn't care for their messages. Does that mean women don't want to listen to other women? No. The surprise in the article is that large numbers of women are turning to conservative talk, and conservative female talk hosts are thriving.
Carrie Lukas at The New York Post offered the numbers August 20th to back it up:
Laura Ingraham, an outspoken conservative and former clerk for Supreme Court Justice Thomas, has been on the air since 2001 and is now heard on 340 stations. Ingraham draws an audience in excess of 5 million, and regularly ranks among the top-10 most influential radio hosts.Dr. Laura Schlessinger draws an even larger audience with very different programming. It can be best described as an advice show, but is anything but touchy feely. "Dr. Laura" serves as a hard-hitting host, unabashedly lecturing her callers about their morals and values. Other women, such as Martha Zoeller, Janet Parshall and Tammy Bruce, join these two powerhouse hosts.
Of course, most significantly, women don't just listen to women radio hosts. Women tune in to men on a wide variety of topics. Rush Limbaugh's 20 million listeners include millions of women. Millions more tune in to hear Sean Hannity and the other conservative, male talk-show hosts around the country. Although Ness may not want to hear it, Limbaugh and conservative talk radio apparently is programming for women.

Since Liberals lost the competition, look for them to do whatever it takes to destroy the competition.
Not a huge surprise. Convincing women that killing the unborn is probably a tough sell. Not to mention that liberals think the president that cheated on his wife with a 19 year old at work was a great man. ROFL...BRILLIANT! Way to get the female listeners, libs.
Hanoi Jane Fonda’s feminist radio tanked after a few months.
There you go.
My wife is a huge Michael Savage fan. I enjoy him too, but haven’t had the time to listen in weeks.

The ladies love El Rushbo.
This conservative gal LOVES Savage, Rusty, Glenn Beck and FR.... well FR isn’t radio, but it has the right message!
We’re here, we’re Conservative, and we’re listening !
Certainly not me. I am a huge fan. Actually I am medium sized, but do like the man.
Ask Chloe...
Believe it or not, conservative talk radio isn’t just “radio for men;” as far as I know, Rush Limbaugh and the type get about a 60/40 ratio of men to women.
Now, sports talk and shock jock talk— that’s pretty much a “guys only” world.
I'm thrilled to see the numbers proving the case that Fonda, et. al think women don't have a voice on radio. Laura Ingraham, Dr. Laura, Tammy Bruce and others debunk the dinosaur feminists who say otherwise.
Best news I’ve seen in a long time!!!
eew. sorry I could resist a face like that !
It is funny how MSM is so shocked to find out that women aren’t automatically liberabots.
MSM and their politicos have taken it for granted that women and minorities can be counted on to follow the leftist lemmings .
Savage changed my ways even though I thought he was awful the first time I listened to him. I knew he was speaking the truth.
Now I tune in to Dennis Miller, Rabbi Lapin and several others when time allows.
Well people, female and male WANT to discuss the issues that in the end affect their lives, not talk about all the time how evil President Bush is.
“It is funny how MSM is so shocked to find out that women arent automatically liberabots.”
Liberal thought is riddled with stereotypes that they’ll defend to the death. It’s alot easier than believing the world is more complex than the talking heads in the MSM say it is.
I love Tammy Bruce
