The Finns did little standing up to Hitler. They were allies of Germany.

They did, however, do an excellent job of standing up to Stalin. Hardly a recommendation, from Alinsky’s point of view.

And Hitler got his start as being one of the few men seen standing up to the Reds, who were at the time (1920's thru early 30's) trying to engulf Germany in Communist revolution
