I was treated like this by a boy in high school. I wouldn’t have wanted him arrested but boy if I had it to do over, I’d kick him as hard as I could. Between his legs.

When I was growing up, this sort of behavior was “controlled” by the alpha males (jocks, JROTC and FFA) at school. With the clear understanding that such would not be tolerated.

A sillier case, I have never heard.

The feminazis are diggin in; True justice is in their sights! Hate thought and trivial infractions like “unwanted attention” could result in hard time! (But remember, this cant be enforced without the help of hypocritical male enablers like John Kerry and Teddy Kennedy) In any event, ultimate justice for the oppressed!

How much money was wasted over this stupid incident? This could have been settled with a trip to the principal’s office and a good talking-to, followed by a few hours of picking up trash on the school grounds.

When I was in High School a boy pinched my breast. I didn't tell, I didn't yell, but I did punch him in the nose. Later that evening my father received and angry phone call from the boys father demanding that we pay for his broken nose. With a very red face I explained to my father just why the boy was punched. Needless to say my father was not so nice to the other father when he found out about the whole thing. The other father actually apologized once he found out exactly what happened.
The boy ended up with a better looking nose and I never had anyone else at school pinch, pat, or slap me on my rear or breast afterward.

Glad to see some small modicum of common sense coming out here. Should’ve never gone to court in the first place.

It’s about time this was stopped. Now the school needs a new principal and the county needs a new DA.

the defense called for both boys to apologize, to pay each of the four girls $250 There is a word for people who accept such a small fee. Why not pay the money to some charity instead?

overzealous prosecutors...
Been a lot of that exposed lately. Somehow I don’t believe there is an upturn in such activity. Just in the attention it receives.

Bring back the days when these things were settled privately by one’s male relatives and other champions.
In my case, I was 17 and a loutish fellow of 19 made inappropriate contact at a holiday picnic. My cousin was present; a US Marine combat vet, big as a typhoon, steely eyes, intrepid jaw, all the deluxe options of the alpha male. He took the lout aside and administered only a lecture. I’ll never know what was said, but I’ll never forget the kid standing there literally wetting his pants.

interest of justice NONSENSE.
This is about the judge giving cover to a prosecutor that got lost in the PC la la land of zelous mothers.
consider the humiliation of these children.
The boys have learned how women are not to be trusted.
The girls have learned they are weak and only the state can protect them and when their superiors tell them, they should stop fighting.

Got news for all you 'zero tolerance put them in jail' folks: kids do dumb things on occasion. If we are going to build a society where even the slightest infraction results in prison time, then we'd all, every single one of us, better just go check into the closest federal prison and save ourselves the trouble of 300 million trials.

apparently inspired by the movie "Jackass," were accused in police reports of swatting girls on the bottom in a school corridor, grabbing girls' breasts on at least two occasions, teaming up to "dry hump" girls, poking girls' breasts and engaging in what's known as "party boy" dancing mimicking sexual intercourse.
I was initially sympathetic to the boys, but I thought all they were doing was slapping the girls butts. If this description is accurate, it goes beyond juvenile horseplay. Still not sure if criminal proceedings are necessary, but neither are cries of "lighten up".

Two 13-year-old boys accused of slapping girls’ bottoms and poking or cupping girls’ breasts at school apologized on Monday as a judge dismissed charges against the two, ending a six-month case that drew national attention.

Is this the wonderful “socialization” that homeschoolers are missing?
By the way,,,,if this happened to an adult in the work place, the adult could sue for millions, but kids who are literal prisoners of the state in their government school cesspools are given an apology.
There is a big difference between the adult in an abusive work environment and a kid in a government “school” prison. The adult can always quit the job and find another. If the kid refuses to go to his government “school” day-prison, armed police and court will send him ( and possibly his parents) to REAL prison.
One more point:
We read every day about sexually, emotionally, and physically abusive government teachers. So...what about the abuse kids suffer from other kids in these compulsory school prisons every day? Why do this go unreported?
