There is some way to get a Court to expunge your record if you lead a sterling existence after finishing your sentence.

There are ways. One always has the right of petition, and a Governor can restore rights on a case-by-case basis.

It's not all that different from a pardon.

Different states have different rules, but for the most part you can petition to get them back after living clean for a while. I don't have a problem with this. The Democrats of course want to let people currently in prison vote.
