YouTube is the latest propaganda vehicle for Hizb ut-Tahrir, a hardline Islamic group which has been banned in Europe, China and most of the Middle East but not Australia.
The group has posted a series of professionally produced videos, which call for all countries with a majority Muslim population to be run under Sharia law.
The clips show Muslims being attacked by Western forces, accompanied by the question "for how much longer?"
It's not the first step into the digital world for Hizb ut-Tahrir, other recruitment efforts include the use of online social networks, chat forums and blogs.
In an article this week for the Jamestown Foundation, US intelligence analyst Madeleine Gruen warned that Hizb ut-Tahrir has become one of the world's most innovative extremist groups.
"Their ability to stay one step ahead of the trend curve has ensured their efforts endure, and their ever-changing tactics make adversarial scrutiny more difficult," wrote Ms Gruen.
Professor Rubin, the director of Israel's Global Research for International Affairs Centre, said Hizb ut-Tahrir has been banned in the Middle East because people there understand the dangers.
He called on the Australian Government to outlaw the group, which he claims prepares people mentally for terrorism.
Federal Attorney-General Philip Ruddock has said the status of Hizb ut-Tahrir is under constant review.
Mr Ruddock said last week the threshold test for banning an organisation was the involvement in or advocacy of terrorism.
The videos in their entirety can be seen at

Until you stop acting like the sixth-century pedophile-worshipping barbarians that you are...
We dealt with Axis Sally, Lord Ha-Ha, and Tokyo Rose during WWII. In fact they gave us good laugh. If we can’t deal with this bunch of lunatic sad-sacks, then we deserve to go under.
Hizb ut-Tahrir now has over one million supporters and representation in over 40 countries around the globe.
I thank you, sincerely, for the information, but I remain unimpressed. If we can not withstand the assaults of these lunatics, then we deserve to be tossed on the ash-heap of history.
The Bush White House team is the Charlie Brown of public relations and marketing.
Pimple-faced swarthy males of questionable intelligence can put together a more competent program of propaganda than the Bush team.
And it shows.
I’m not sure, but I was under the impression that propaganda was against US law, at least for us to develop it.
Thanks for your link. I will look it over in the afternoon.
Let’s hope that the nation down under is smart enough to BAN this TERROR group. Plus let it be soon because next summer the same down under is planning to host the Catholic World Youth Day 2008.
Thanks for the video. Bookmarked it.
Australia might be able to do it, but I'm afraid that Europe and the United States won't be able to muster the courage to defend themselves.
Ironically George Bush will rather go after an elusive OBL rather than confront this.
I can see Europe not having the courage to stand up, but remember in America, there are Americans armed to their teeth BIGTIME and I mean BIGTIME, ones not to mess around with.
At that point it will be too late for America.
This extremist group operates with impunity in not only Europe but the United States as well.
