The proper strategy for Iraq is to wear them down, corrode their capabilites. Or, to use another analogy, the one of how to cook a frog. Turn up the temperature a little at a time, until it is too late to jump out. To some, that may seem like our position in Iraq, but if you analyze the elements of conflict in Iran, they have far less room to move than is generally appreciated. Ethnic conflicts all over the place, and they obviously don’t have the military depth to support much more than an army. No air force, a joke of a navy, no marines to speak of. They are very limited.
Saddam is dead the last I checked and we need to retool. No Pun Intended Billthedrill.
You are right in that I don’t know that as a fact. It is the bottom of the 7th and I’m waiting for the manager to insert the ace closer. I pray that I am just being reactionary. Anyways, didn’t mean to screetch at you.
No problem...I also hope I didn’t jump on you too hard.
My hackles occasionally go up at declarative statements that I strongly suspect do not have any basis in fact, especially if I disagree with them.
I do respect the right of you (or anyone else) to have their own opinion, right or wrong. The way you worded it hit me the wrong way, and I jumped in ready to swing. Normally I might not do that.
Thank you for the civil answer...
“Its a start...”
Next the lawyers!
But I thought Iran wasn’t sending terrorists into Iraq?

Put a video on liveleak of them being buried with a sausage.

I get so tired of these units being referred to as “elite”. The best training offered by the Iranians is a joke compared to the standard training given to American Soldiers. Elite means Special Forces, Rangers, Seals, and units like the SAS.

I love you too....
Please remove me from this ping list...tks
