It should be mentioned in every discussion involving Terry:

Her parents were willing to take over full expenses for her care and feeding. Not that that should matter, but I believe it is worth mentioning.

Keeping her alive (aside from all the moral issues) would have inconvenienced no one.

(I feel I should mention this for those lurkers who believe that she really was brain-dead.)

There were some questions about her injuries. When she was taken to the emergency room she had bruising around her neck. Some have suggested that the husband did not want to risk her recovering and regaining the ability to speak.

I am late responding,but you are 100% correct about her parents wanting to help her.Neither my wife or I are particularly religious,however what the courts and her husband did to her is in our eyes a mortal sin and those responsible should rot in the lowest reaches of hell along with child killers/molesters.
