I don't think you need foregiveness...your point ...as you stated wasn't the content ...but the fact that FR and JV's efforts were the topic of a German article....
In other words .....the information conveyed is not really the content of the article....

Some people can’t see the forest for the trees. I say you did nothing wrong. We all know we’ve FReepers who speak and write German who can get the whole article translated. Some people are a little too eager to be as parochial as they can be, but in the real world, other people speak other languages. They should not become a scold just because of it.
