I’m here and you certainly do not speak for me.
Way to go!
I’m guessing he was joking; I thought his post was funny.
But thanks for posting, it would be good to see it translated.
WELL ....that just has to be good!
Since July 19 we have recorded over 40 terrorist websites and forums that were shut down.
SolidWood, thank you so much for finding the article and taking the time to post it so that others may translate it for us.
Thank you, longjack, for your excellent translation! That certainly was worth the wait and the read.
Finally, thank you, jveritas, for your important work. You’re a great patriot.
Ping.
At least it will be harder for jihadist to use the Internet if each time a known web site is created, it is shortly shut down.
Thanks for the translation, longjack. As one who speaks several languages and enjoys learning more, the German language is not one of them so I appreciate when someone takes the time to interpret for those not able to communicate in a foreign tongue.
Cheers!
Do you have a link where someone such as I can go to help? I would enjoy helping to shut those sites down!

Thank you very much lonevoice.
Well, as most conservatives are a resourceful group of people, many of us saw the article in foreign language as an obstacle to overcome. Liberals are by far a lazy and helpless group, and when faced with an article in a foreign language would probably whine about it.
Your .05% claim needs further revision...JFK
When I translated the article I didn't do the title until the very end, kind of as an afterthought.
Großangriff is the word for full-scale attack, and that's what I thought the word was.
Großangriffchen has a completely different meaning. The 'chen' suffix is a diminutive, and in this case is added on to a word, Großangriff, that normally wouldn't use any suffix.
In this context it means an atttempt at a full-scale attack that petered out, or that didn't have the effect it intended. The closest English equivalent I can think of is a 'less than powerfull full-scale attack.
The 'chen' suffix is used mostly in a satirical manner. For example, in a soccer game if an attacker lines up for an open shot or Schuß, but miskicks it into a dribbler, the announcer might say, "that wasn't a Schuß, it was a Schußchen."
The rest of the article didn't seem derogatory to me, so I would say the author's use of the word play Großangriffchen in the title refers to his opinion that size of the terrorist organization makes the web site undertaking futile, even if well-intentioned.
I'm sorry about that mistake, I shouldn't have missed it on the first translation.
I find it hard to believe that some people were actually busting your chops for posting the article and trying to get a translation.
It's an important article.
First of all, jveritas made it onto a major European publication as the major player in a sucessful grass roots iniative and he deserves the recognition.
Secondly, the article presents FReepers as enthusiastic activists who are willing to work for a cause and are willing and thankful to be able to help out where they can.
That's why I feel this was an important article for the Freerepublic community and I think you deserve to be acknowledged for finding it and posting it.
So, that being said, thank you very much for posting the article and trying to get it translated.
No problem at all, thank you very much the translation :)
Thanks. My pleasure! :)
