Nope, then it wasn’t covered on the news in Arizona where I am.
My sister was just talking to a guard from San Quentin (at the store, chit-chatting). The guard said she had had it - and was leaving. She takes care of Scott Peterson and all the violent murderers, but she said the absolute worst/most violent ones are the illegal aliens from south of the border... Nice (not).
Running stop signs without even slowing down is very common in the Mexican border towns I have been in. Add alcohol to that common behavior, and you have death.
Too bad our government doesn’t deport the criminals.

I spoke with my son this evening. He said the service for Paul is Tuesday. I pray they catch this killer before then.
I figured this guy had previous run ins with the law and was let go to kill someone.
Amazing - they had this guy caught and didn’t send him back, now an innocent kid is dead. And This is the same DA’s office that just put a mother in jail for stabbing a guy who molested her 8 year old daughter.
We reached fed-up around here, and pressured ICE into putting an agent in an office at our police headquarters. He checks everybody arrested and puts holds on felons and those with either multiple convictions or warrants. We’ve deported a considerable number of these dudes.
I think the key is for each city experiencing one of these surges of outrage to use it as an occasion to make the same demand of their federal elected officials. A couple of hundred angry letters from back home has an interesting effect on congress-critters.
One city at a time, I guess, ‘cause we can’t count on our government to enforce its own laws’.
