Not sure I understand what happened

Me either. First I prayed, then I looked it up:

cecum |ˈsēkəm| ( Brit. caecum)

noun ( pl. -ca |-kə|) Anatomy

a pouch connected to the junction of the small and large intestines.

I looked it up also, and here's this from Wikipedia. The cecum is described as a pouch and is very near the appendix.

And I agree in prayer with all those praying for a complete healing for confused Swede's brother-in-law, and the best of health also for his wife and new baby.
