I'm anti-abortion -- look up all my posts for seven or eight years here and decide for yourself if you don't believe me. But if Fred Thompson doesn't pan out as a candidate, I'll gladly vote for Giuliani.

The President cannot make abortion illegal. It isn't within his power. I take Rudy on his word that he'll appoint strict constructionists to the Supreme Court and I believe that his economic and foreign policy ideas are solid.

Conservatives who proudly proclaim their refusal to vote for Rudy if he's the Republican nominee are throwing the unborn baby out with the bath water. I'm continually astounded at their holier-than-us willingness to put the country into the hands of the Democrats.

I am unaware of ANY president in the history of this country who has knowingly appointed judges with basic principles that are totally contrary to their own. And Rooty has NEVER indicated that he would appoint judges who are pro-life
