As far as I can tell, Rooty doesn’t have a SINGLE conservative credential (because I don’t consider the war on terror and national defense to be strictly conservative principles, even though nearly all conservatives support them).

You hit the nail on the head---as it is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS to think that ONLY Rudy will aggressively and effectively fight the WOT!! That defense of Rudy (that the Rudy apologists routinely use) naive, outrageous and just plain WRONG.

If Rooty were the ONLY GOP candidate who supported the war on terror, then things would be very different. But the reality is that ALL of the real Republicans (I don’t think Ron Paul is any more a Republican than Rooty is) support the war just as much as he does and the Rooty Rooters can’t seem to grasp that.

As far as being mayor of NYC on 9/11/01, let’s remember that in his first seven years as mayor he did NOTHING to develop an evacuation plan for a KNOWN terrorist target where evacuation had already been demonstrated to be critical. Yet Rooty continues to talk about his 9/11 experience the same way John sKerry talked about Vietnam.
