I don't see anything wrong with presenting both evolution AND creationism. (my opinion only, I don't see why it couldn't be both, rather than one or the other) However, if people choose to favor one approach over the other - that's their fundamental human right.

Not sure how someone can justify teaching homosexuality in the schools....other than it exists.

I hate to disagree with you (making fun of liberals is so much better), but evolution being taught alongside creationism in science class is wrong for government funded schools. Creationism can be analyzed in a religion/history type class, but there is no scientific basis for creationism to be taught at all in science class.

I like to think of it as creation through evolution. What - is God (Most Holy Sun Absolute Uni-Being Common Father) not intelligent enough to conceive the processes and functions whereby that can take place? Everything that lives grows - people don't spring out fully formed - why should we believe the world sprang out fully formed?

I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this. At least, I hope not...
