Exactly, his eldest should be a sophomore and the other two might be in their teen.
Tony would not want to have the media speculating on his health.
Tony is too honest a guy to lie, money was a part of it, but I am guessing not THE major reason.

No, only asking others to join.

Oh really?!
Tony doesn’t lie. We might not like everything he says but he does NOT lie.

Thanks for the ping.
I will miss seeing him battle the press hounds, but understand that he feels he needs to leave.
For me-—:*(
He has served this president very well; he will leave on such a very high note— and now he will have more time with his family. Good for him.
For me-—:*( (Isn’t this all about me? LOL)
Maybe he will be back on the radio—**WOOF** ;*)

Poor Tony... literally or figuratively?!
Can't wait to have him back (with us) on the radio and back with FNC (I hope)!
Think they'll give him his own show - boot Greta?!

$168K a year isn't enough to deal with / gaze upon Helen Thomas. Every. Single. Day.HA! HA! HA! (Hence Tony's graying hair!)

You’re welcome, Shelayne. You wrote a wonderful post, thank you.
:-) I would be very happy if he were on the air again, but any decision he makes about a job will be the right one.

I agree with you.
I hope he is around for a long long time in any capacity. He reminds me of that rare class of professor who you enjoyed no matter what he was teaching. Even if you disagree with his opinion, he was aways worthy of respect.

It would be great if Tony wanted to do another show, but maybe he’s found a better opportunity.

Courtesy comment:
Having dealt recently with cancer it is an expensive disease and an eye opening experience.
When ole Doc walks in and says pal or gal you got the big one you spend what ever it takes to beat the disease whether or not your HMO says it is OK or that they will pay.
It dose not take long to go through a life time of savings trying to make sure your life is being extended by every available chance known to medicine.
All of a sudden, concern for having security for the future becomes just making it to the future.

You can die from any cancer, in fact colon cancer is very deadly.
To: Sub-Driver
Tony has served his nation well. He should be praised and thanked. Now, he should go and do what’s best for Tony. Our prayers and thanks go with him.

I could listen to Tony talk all day everyday. He’s a fascinating man and very well read and I just always enjoy him when I get to see of hear him. You pegged him good. He is a professor of sorts.

Boot O’Reilly!
Give Greta’s slot to Michelle Malkin.
