Just pointing out the hypocracy of Paulistinians cry foul in Iowa when they are doing the exact same thing in Texas.

Paul still won’t win the Texas straw poll. By bussing in deligates, he might break out of the single digits - in his home state! bawahahahahaahahah!

But none of us complained that Brownback/Romney/TThompson used hundreds of buses in Iowa. We didn't say a word. And since the Ron Paul campaign did not have anything to do with this ridiculous voting machines case and specifically discouraged it, you can hardly blame us for the wingnuts like Condit who was on a mission of his own.

Then why are you so worried? Beyond that, don't be so sure that his turnout there will be so low. The Texas Republican Party has some very conservative elements in it. President Bush stopped appearing at their conventions while he was still governor because they are so conservative a group.

I might be surprised if Ron Paul can win it, given the massive campaign machinery of the competition. But a surprising second or third wouldn't surprise me. We'll have to see how it goes. Like most congressmen, Ron Paul isn't all that well-known across his own state where there are so many congressmen. Texas conservatives might very well decide to send a message to the candidates field with a strong RP vote that the candidates had better start talking a lot more sound conservative policy and a lot less liberal bilge.
