I'm not liking a lot of things about Windows Vista/IE7, but am forced to accept much of it. Part of it is that IE7 will NOT open all the graphics, even when I right-click one that doesn't open and click "Show Picture". It's most aggravating. :(
Billie, we don’t like old computers and we don’t like new ones. None of them do what we want them to do~~You are more computer savvy than I, but if I had to change to a new one (which I will one day) don’t know if I could accept a new way!
Good Luck on the adventure! :)

Thanks, Meg - did that a couple of months ago. I don’t have ANY photo editing program on this pc right now - am waiting to get the Vista-compatible version of PhotoImpact Pro, version 11, in the mail. (I HOPE it’s here tomorrow) I was using Version 10 on my XP computer, but NONE of my photo editing programs I used on XP will work on this one. NONE! :( I think you said you didn’t have one on your laptop now either, didn’t you?
Y W ((((Caring Kitty!))))
T’was my pleasure.
Glad it brightened Your night.
It did so for my night too!
Love that, “Love this!” reply of Yours, Dear Meg!

I am angry at my salesman because I stressed how important that was to me..My hand is too shaky to do the real creating ..but I did want more..
I have Paint and Gimp takes so long to load one picture. It is too much trouble to try to learn it..I at last know to click preview in Windows gallery to display a picture full size but all my files go into Gimp and I can’t seem to find a way to make folders to organize my Windows picture gallery..Sigh.
I have a few pictures that won’t show from my other computer when I use my thumb drive to see old pictures..
I’ve been reading more this afternoon about Vista..Change is a PAIN! I don’t know how to get rid of my Gimp problems.I cannot resize bytes in there.
I want Windows to display my Picture Folders..I don’t want to have to look at all at once and typing in search is a pain(That is what they consider a great new feature.)
I am making a note of your program..
I am going to check it out.
I DO enjoy having a laptop.
My harddrive is TWICE as large as my XP computer, and my RAM is also TWICE as large as the XP. I don't have nearly all "my" programs installed on this one, and yet I only have 90% free space even now; I had 95% free space on the XP. Go figure. What the heck is all the junk that Vista has loaded? I've been uninstalling as many (to me) unnecessary programs as I can.
I've never heard of "Gimp", Meg, and I've tried lots of different photo software. It doesn't sound like what you were asking your salesman for though. :(
PhotoImpact Pro isn't a piece-of-cake, easy-to-learn program; I just find it way more user-friendly than PhotoShop, and way less expensive, but it's got more bells and whistles than even I need or care to learn and use! If you decide to buy it, I'll be happy to help you any way if I can though. :)
