A major port will be constructed in Mexico, the economy will be benefited, more workers will be employed

The port will supposedly take the overflow from Long Beach, leaving less work ( overtime ? ) for American workers.

The owners of the mineral rights will have been forced off, very much like "emminent domain" up here.

According to other reports, there are other conflicts at Punta Colonet.

Does, or does not, Hutchinson-Whampoa want to develop the port?

Will Carlos Slim take the development rights away from H-W?

Will the NIMBYs and GOP legislature in AZ be able to block Union Pacific's plans to connect the port to Tucson's Inland Port, Puerto Nuevo?
