I am new here, Chena, and want to choose my words carefully. I watched Kristinn on BOR show. Mr. O’Reilley ate him up. He wouldn’t let Kristinn get a word in edgewise - and Kristinn didn’t deserve that. He threw some papers in Kristinn’s face, stating that that is what he got ‘today’ on FR, quoting some vile stuff. Kristinn didn’t have a chance to preview the ‘evidence’ being thrown out by Mr. O’R. Even the slimiest attorny wouldn’t pull that in the courtroom.
I would NEVER consider being a ‘guest’ of a ‘host’ like that.
I didn't know Kristinn had already been on BOR, and that he was treated badly. I guess there's no point in appearing if you can't get a word in edgewise.
It ticks me off though. What O'reilly said about FR is a flat out lie.
I saw Kristinn that night on O’Reilly’s show. I know that the segments on those shows never allow for everyone to say what they came to say, but I felt bad for Kristinn too. However, in spite of the interruptions and time constraints, I felt that Kristinn did a great job. I don’t feel that FR should be compared to KOS or DU. They aren’t anywhere near comparable as far as hate speech goes. But I have gone on the record, so to speak (not Greta’s record...har har) as saying that I have seen for myself that hate speech does happen here on FR. I cannot lie about that, I have seen it with my own eyes.
Anyhow, it was just my opinion that JR should defend himself, in person, since he is the owner of this website. The next time I decide to encourage someone to stand up and speak for themselves and/or defend themselves, I will remember that not everyone appreciates such advice.
